R&D Testing Engineer Packaging

Ready to make a next step in your career? Do you have experience in creating testing protocol for newly developed packaging formats? Do you want to work in a team of packaging experts? Then we are looking for you!

You will work in a team of packaging experts. This team is in the lead of developing new sustainable packaging solutions. In this role the main focus of your job will be to develop and setup testing protocols for new packaging projects.

Next to setting up the protocols you will work on:

• Developing new production lines & processes
• Paper packaging development including quality/food safety; sustainability
• Validation and creation of new testing methods
• Familiarity with legislation on environmental/packaging sustainability
• Writing scientific papers, research reports and other documentation in English
• Risk detection and assessment for new and existing products

To be successful in this role we are looking for a candidate with:

• Technical University degree in Mechanical, Packaging, Chemistry-Polymers, Waste Management or Sustainability;
• 1- 3 years of experience in jobs related to packaging development & projects implementation/ coordination; R&D; Production, packaging testing;
• English / fluent in speech & writing;
• Ability to work in multifunctional teams;
• Analytical skills focused on problem solving;
• Very good organization of work;
• Focus on the target timing;
• Basic knowledge of production lines & processes.

You will get an external temporary contract via our agency for 6 months. After these 6 months it is possible your contract will be extended or our client will offer you a contract. Salary will depend on your educational level and work experience (€3.000 - €5.000,- gross a month)

Gestelde eisen
